Molly Tan

Molly Tan is our principal author. Molly TanMolly Tan

She has been developing resources and materials for over 20 years while she was a teacher and an adviser with training organisations and as a document controller for a dairy company. She is now developing this resource while running her laundry and tutoring businesses in Shepparton.

She studied in Bahasa Malaysia in Malaysia during her secondary school years and transit to studying in English in Australia for her Bachelor of Applied Science (Food Science & Technology)  from RMIT University  and Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary) from Monash University during her tertiary education.

Her mother tongue is Hokkien, a Chinese dialect.

She understands that learning a new language requires diligence and constant practice. Although there are many English Language resources available, most are in context e.g. going to a restaurant, shopping at a store etc.  Her idea of developing short stories from frequently used words is to provide a different type of resource that can assist with reading up to 1000 words and beyond quickly and easily.
